Are you a half full or half empty kind of person?
Perhaps an impartial view is best? The glass is neither half full or half empty; it just is.
No matter how you see your glass, it is yours to do with as you wish. You can choose to drink from it and savour the contents, or empty it and fill it with something else, or add something to it to make it more interesting.
Your 2019 New Year glass is here, and there’s one thing it’s full of: potential.
Savour it. Fill it up. Make it interesting.

Happy New Year to all
I think POTENTIAL is the perfect word for the new year. May yours be full and happy, Arlene!
Thank you. Now that the holiday season is drawing to a close, I have the POTENTIAL to keep up with the comments on my posts!
Happy new year to you..
It seems impossible that we are already entering another year! As you said, a year full of potential – which is a very good word.
May 2019 bring you lots of blessings for you to share with your readers. I always enjoy your posts.
On a day when there is so much pressure about “goals”…”potential” feels much more encouraging as we travel into the new year!
True. A little flexibility is good!
Perhaps one of my most obvious faults (or pluses) is that my glass is ALWAYS half full – more likely at times 3/4s full at least. CHEERS to the New Year, may yours fill up with beauty, happiness, and fulfillment.
